"Chocolate pouches" gets searched a lot, generally by people who've seen gummy sweets sold in resealable pouches and are looking for the chocolate equivalent. It's a reasonable thing to want - it just isn't really a format chocolate comes in.
Why pouches suit gummies but not chocolate
Resealable stand-up pouches work well for gummy and fruit-flavoured sweets because the product is flexible, doesn't melt at room temperature, and survives being squeezed or jostled in a bag. Chocolate behaves very differently - it softens and marks easily under heat or pressure, so manufacturers generally package it in treat bags, tubs, trays or wrapped multipacks that protect its shape, rather than a soft pouch you'd squash in transit.
What's closest to it in our range
We don't stock a chocolate product sold specifically as a pouch. What we do carry includes chocolate in resealable treat bags and snack bags, such as Maltesers Chocolate Treat Bag and M&M's Crunchy Peanut & Milk Chocolate Bag. If an actual pouch format matters more than the bag type, Reese's Pieces Peanut Butter Pouch is chocolate-coated peanut butter candy sold in a genuine stand-up pouch, as close as we currently get to the two formats meeting.
What we don't stock
There's no product in our range marketed as a "chocolate pouch" in the way gummy pouches are marketed. If that specific format is what you need, this isn't it.
Frequently asked questions
Is there such a thing as a chocolate pouch?
Not really - pouches are common for gummies, but chocolate is usually sold in bags, tubs or multipacks.
Why isn't chocolate sold in pouches as often?
Chocolate is more sensitive to heat and pressure, so it's typically packaged to protect its shape rather than in a soft pouch.
Does Supreme Sweets stock a chocolate pouch?
No - though we stock chocolate in treat bags, and Reese's Pieces in a genuine pouch format.
