Kinder is Ferrero's children's confectionery brand, best known for Kinder Surprise — a hollow chocolate egg with a toy capsule inside, sold across Europe but banned in the US since the toy is embedded directly in the food. Kinder Joy, sold internationally including in the US, gets around that by keeping the chocolate and the toy in separate compartments of the same pot.
