Collection: Toxic Waste

Toxic Waste traces its heat back to a Japanese sour candy that Foreign Candy Co. founder Peter De Yager discovered in the early 1990s, before Candy Dynamics built an entire brand around it in 2001 — reportedly naming it after someone joked about "toxic waste" during the pitch meeting. The malic acid coating delivers roughly 30-45 seconds of proper sourness before it settles into an ordinary hard candy.
