Sour Sweets

Everything with a proper kick — sour-dusted gums, fizzy coatings and tongue-tingling centres, from Tangfastics to Vidal's sour slices, plus the genuinely extreme end of the shelf.

Toxic Waste Nuclear Fusion and Toxic Waste Blue Sour Candy are about as sour as boiled sweets get, and Brain Licker Bitz pack the same super-sour hit into tiny sweets by the case. Haribo Tangfastics remain the standard sour gummy mix, and Vidal Sour Volcanoes add a bulk sour-jelly option. For something sour on a stick, Vidal's Blue Raspberry lollipops are the closest match in the range, sold by the tub. If you're after an actual brain-shaped jelly sweet rather than a licking candy, Crazy Candy Factory's Zombie Brain is a genuine jelly-filled brain — it's made by Crazy Candy Factory rather than Vidal, so despite the common search for a 'Vidal brain' sweet, we don't stock one under that brand.

Dummy-shaped sweets are a strong sub-category of their own here, across both fizzy and sour styles. Haribo Giant Dummies Tub 816g are the oversized fruit-flavoured original, while Kingsway's range covers the fizzy and sour end more specifically: Kingsway Vegan Fizzy Bubblegum Tongue Painting Dummies 3kg combine a fizzy coating with a tongue-colour-changing filling, Kingsway Fizzy Sour Dummies 3kg pair fizzy and sour in one dummy, and Kingsway Vegan Mini Sour Dummies 3kg bring the sour dummy down to a smaller, pocket-money-friendly size.
