"Calories in a Kit Kat" and its relatives are some of the steadiest searches in confectionery — people mid-shop, or mid-snack, wanting the number rather than a marketing page. Here it is, bar by bar, for the ones we're actually asked about most.
A caveat before the numbers: manufacturers round, recipes get small tweaks over time, and third-party calorie databases don't always agree with each other to the last kcal. The wrapper in front of you is the actual source of truth — what follows is a reliable working figure, not a substitute for reading the pack.
Kit Kat: 2 Finger, 4 Finger and Chunky
These three get confused constantly, and the calorie counts are genuinely different:
- 2 Finger (20.7g): around 106 kcal
- 4 Finger (41.5g): 209 kcal — about 52 kcal per finger
- Chunky (40g): around 205 kcal for the original milk chocolate bar
We stock the 4 Finger multipack, 4 Finger Dark, and the Chunky range in Milk, White and Peanut Butter — we don't currently carry the single 2 Finger bar on its own, so the figure above is for reference rather than one of our own listings.
Cadbury Boost
The full-size Boost bar (48.5g) — biscuit, caramel and milk chocolate — is around 250 kcal. Cut it down to the 31.5g bars sold four to a multipack and you're looking at roughly 162 kcal each, which is the more useful number if you're working out a lunchbox or a school-run treat rather than one bar in isolation.
We stock both formats: the 48.5g single bar and the 4-pack multipack.
Cadbury Brunch Bar
Brunch Bar sits in an odd category — sold and marketed more like a cereal bar than a chocolate bar, but it's genuinely chocolate-chip and oat based rather than a health food. The Chocolate Chip variety (28g) comes in at around 120 kcal; other varieties (raisin, peanut) range from about 117 to 150 kcal depending on size.
We stock the Chocolate Chip 4-pack — it's currently out of stock, so we're not pretending otherwise, but the calorie figure above still applies to the pack when it's back.
Drumstick lolly — a different product from what we sell
Worth flagging honestly: the classic Swizzels Drumstick lolly (the hard lolly on a stick) is around 75 kcal each. We don't stock that specific lolly. What we do carry is the newer Drumstick Squashies range — soft chews rather than a lolly — which comes in at roughly 71 kcal per 20g portion. Similar branding, genuinely different product and a different calorie profile, so don't assume the numbers are interchangeable.
Why the numbers move around online
Search a calorie question and you'll get answers a few kcal apart depending on the site. Some of that's rounding, some of it's older or regional pack sizes still floating around in databases, and some products get quiet recipe adjustments over the years that database entries don't catch up with. None of it is dramatic enough to matter day to day — but if you need the exact figure for a specific pack, the printed nutrition panel always wins.
