Kinder Chocolate UK: Bueno, Joy, Surprise and Happy Hippo, Actually Explained

"Kinder chocolate" covers four genuinely different products, and it's worth knowing which is which before you order in bulk for the wrong occasion.

Kinder Bueno — The Wafer Bar

A crispy wafer filled with hazelnut cream, coated in chocolate. The one people actually eat as a chocolate bar rather than a novelty. We stock Milk Chocolate & Hazelnut, White Chocolate & Hazelnut, and Dark Chocolate, in single twin-bars, 5-bar multipacks, and wholesale cases.

Kinder Joy and Kinder Surprise — The Toy Ones

Both combine chocolate with a toy, but the format is different. Kinder Joy is a two-part plastic egg — chocolate on one side, toy on the other, no unwrapping a solid chocolate shell required. Kinder Surprise is the original: a solid hollow chocolate egg with the toy capsule inside, also available as a 3-egg multipack.

Kinder Happy Hippo — The Wafer Biscuit

Not chocolate-coated at all in the same sense — a wafer biscuit shaped like a hippo with a cream filling, in hazelnut and cocoa cream versions. Closer to a biscuit snack than a chocolate bar.

Plain Kinder Chocolate

The straightforward option — small milk chocolate bars and fun-size multipacks, no wafer, no toy, no novelty shape — just Kinder's milk chocolate.

Full range, including wholesale cases, in the Kinder collection. Delivered UK-wide.
