Ice Breakers Sours: The Hershey Mint We Don't Stock

Ice Breakers is better known in the UK as a mint and gum brand, so the Sours line can come as a surprise - it's a genuine product, just not one we currently carry.

What Ice Breakers Sours actually is

Ice Breakers Sours is a sugar-free sour candy range sold under Hershey's Ice Breakers name, packaged in small flavour-paired tins or bags - mixed berry and strawberry in one pairing, watermelon and green apple in another, with a tangerine variant also seen in US listings. It uses artificial sweeteners rather than sugar, which is standard for the wider Ice Breakers range.

Where the brand comes from

Ice Breakers started as a separate confectionery brand before Hershey acquired it from Nabisco in 2000 for a reported $135 million. Since then it's been folded into Hershey's mint and gum portfolio, best known in the UK for its Ice Cubes sugar-free gum rather than the Sours candy.

What we stock instead

We don't currently stock Ice Breakers Sours - it's a narrower, largely US-market line with limited UK retail presence. We do stock a range of other Hershey-owned products, including Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme Dipped Pretzels. For sour sweets generally, see our sour sweets guide.
